Hi all,
well, after listening to kelly sapergias' demonstration on some accesible games, i decided to try 2 free audio games. So i downloaded deekout from bsc games and pidgeon panic from l-works, but i think i like pidgeonpanic better. deegout is pretty good, you are in a room with a deadly robot, and you have to keep away from him at all cost. You move your arrow keys to move up, down, leftr and right. I think im'm better at pidgeon panic than i am at deekout, and all you have to do is keep hitting the spaced bar to keep hitting those pidgeons. My score keeps going up and down though, and i can't seem to stay in the 400 range for long. I got up to 462 once, but when i tried to post my score, it said there was an error posting my score, and i don'tknow what happened, because i was connected and my isp hadn't disconnected me at that time. At some point in time i might down load duck blaster and try shooting ducks. I tend to be sort ofdrawn to shooting games at the moment, heehe.

Pigeon panick was the first audio game i ever tried and i think it's a good start for beginners.
I didn't try decout yet. I will have to give it a go.
Dack blaster is ok but you will have to be quick otherwise ducks will be everywhere and you won't know where to start and in my oppinion their sound is really anoying. They don't sound like real ducks they sound more like donald duck or other simmilar cartoons.
Sorry for my spelling.

thanks for telling me about duckblasters nikos, well i probably won't be good at it, since i don't always make a good score on pigeon panic. after they get so fast, the space bar won't even shoot anymoore. i mean, when they get to a certain point, the space bar won't even try anymore, they get faster than th espace bar will allow i think.

thanks zenter,
well i'll try the ones that aren't too large in file size. The ones with self voiccing speech sound interesting, but some of them are 62 mb in size, and i'm on dial up, so according to my calculations, if multiplying the file size times your dial up connection, it will probably take about 5 hours to download one of those, eeeks. But i might try one sometime

Hi wonderwoman.
jim Kitchen has got some interesting games and they are all small files i think the biggest is 3 mb or something so they are good for dial up..

There are three categories of games in this website. Self voicing games, sapi5 games which they use the sapi5 synthesiser installed with computers running windows 2000 and xp and you can download it if you have windows 98 or older but as you have xp they should work. And there are also dos games but i don't know who uses dos these days.

yes nikos, i've seen that, i've been to the site, not sure i understand the games and how they're played, but i'll kep going back. I can't imagine that there is still anyone who uses dos. I started out with windows 95, so wouldn't have any idea what to do in a dos prompt

hi thomas 85
bsc games has a few free games as well. for now i have deekout, and might download some of the other games. there is bobbys' revenge. in that one, 8 year old bobby didn't get the computer he wanted for christmas, so he's out for revenge, and all you have to do is zap santra and his sleigh 50 times with your ray gun, which probably isn't as easy as it sounds, haven't downloaded it yet, so don't know how you navigate, but i would suspect you use your arrow keys to navigate, and the space bar to shoot.

usually if there was an error posting your score, the score still posted. My web host has some issues rendering the data from the score boards correctly.
